West Ham full-back Ryan Fredericks will be out of action for the remainder of 2018 after suffering a shin injury.
The 26-year-old picked up the injury shortly after coming on as a substitute in his side's 1-1 draw with Huddersfield on November 10.
The defender, who joined the Hammers on a free from Fulham in the summer, has already begun a course of rehabilitation with a view to returning early in 2019.

Fredericks will miss up to nine Premier League games and is the latest of a series West Ham players to be sent to the treatment room.
