West Ham chief Karren Brady reveals she is leading by example and taking 30 per cent pay cut to her £898,000 salary amid the coronavirus crisis... as she defends her earnings after coming under fire from fans on Twitter

Lady Karren Brady has revealed she has taken a 30 per cent pay cut to her £898,000 salary to ease the financial burden on West Ham United during the coronavirus crisis.

However, the Hammers vice-chief has still come under attack on Twitter for the size of her earnings.

Brady took time in her weekly column in The Sun to slam the PFA for their handling of the current situation, insisting that Premier League clubs have to be able to slash player wages in order to keep afloat during the pandemic.
