West Ham agree a deal worth up to £33.5m for Lille star Amadou Onana, with boss David Moyes ready to bolster his midfield options with the highly-rated Belgium international

West ham have reached an agreement with Lille over midfielder Amadou Onana.

Onana was a regular for the French club last season, and will prove to be a handy replacement for retiring Hammers legend Mark Noble.

The 20-year-old scored once in 32 Ligue 1 games in 2021-22 and made his debut for Belgium earlier this summer.

Talks are also ongoing for Burnley's Maxwel Cornet after their initial offer was rejected on Tuesday evening.

It has been a busy transfer window for David Moyes, as he has already brought in Alphonse Areola, Gianluca Scamacca, Flynn Downes and Nayef Aguerd.
