West Ham 2-0 Wolves: Goals from Jarrod Bowen and Gianluca Scamacca lift the Hammers out of the relegation zone and ease the pressure on David Moyes... as Diego Costa fails to inspire the visitors

Gianluca Scamacca scored his first Premier League goal as West Ham climbed out of the relegation zone with a 2-0 win against Wolves on Saturday.

The Italian fired the hosts ahead at the break before Jarrod Bowen doubled the lead in the second-half, handing the Hammers a comfortable victory against Bruno Lage's out-of-form side.

Summer signing Diego Costa came on for Wolves in the second-half to try and reduce the deficit, but the visitors ultimately sank to 18th in the division.
