Gary Megson has revealed his decision to remove assistant head coach Ben Garner from the West Bromwich Albion set-up was based on wanting 'bouncy people' at the club's training ground.
Placed in caretaker charge following the sacking of Tony Pulis, Megson also insinuated Garner had potentially been eyeing the top job at a time when the club's mood needed 'lifting'.
Garner, who was promoted to joint No 2 by Pulis in September 2016, has been told to stay away from West Brom's training ground while Megson, who was also assistant head coach, is making the decisions.
