United States midfielder Brenden Aaronson has been crowned the worst player of the 2022-23 Premier League season by stats boffins Sofascore.
The 22-year-old, who made the move from RB Salzburg to the Premier League team in May last year in a $31million deal, was part of the Leeds side relegated to tier 2 of English soccer on Sunday.
Aaronson scored just one goal and supplied three assists in 41 matches in his debut season and in fact earned the worst average rating for players who appeared in over 40 percent of top-flight games.
