Two Italians deny £25million raid on socialite Tamara Ecclestone’s London mansion after four Romanians were cleared of roles in burglary plot

Two alleged burglars today denied involvement in the £25million raid at Formula One heiress Tamara Ecclestone’s mansion.

Alessandro Maltese, 44, and Alessandro Donati, 43, are accused of breaking into the home of multi-millionaire socialite Ms Ecclestone - the daughter of former F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone.

The pair are also accused of raiding the homes of retired Premier League star Frank Lampard and deceased Leicester City football club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Maltese and Donati appeared at Isleworth Crown Court by video link from HMP Wandsworth to deny one count of conspiracy to burgle.
