Trent Alexander-Arnold has admitted he has fallen short of his usual standards in recent weeks and has spoken about the difficulties of trying to rediscover his best form.
The 22-year-old emerged as one of the best right-backs in European football under Jurgen Klopp and was a key performer in Liverpool's Premier League title triumph last season, having registered 13 assists from defence.
But Alexander-Arnold's performances have noticeably been below par this term and has lacked the creativity he showed last term while Liverpool have struggled to keep pace with Manchester City in the title race.
