Tottenham's single-tier south stand in new stadium suffers a 'leak'

Tottenham's new stadium is facing another setback after the roof of the impressive single-tier south stand suffered a leak.

Modeled on the famous 'Yellow Wall' at Borussia Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park, the south stand is comprised of a single tier and will be able to hold 17,500 Spurs fans out of the total capacity of 61,559.

The front row of the south stand is only five metres away from the touchline, and it is hoped that the stand will 'generate a wall of sound' to boost the atmosphere.

However, according to The Times, there are pools of water within the stand due to a leaky roof.
