Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho insists there is 'no chance' midfielder Harry Winks will leave the club in January - despite transfer interest from LaLiga side Valencia

Tottenham coach Jose Mourinho says there is 'no chance' of Harry Winks leaving amid interest from Valencia.

Central midfielder Winks played 41 times across all competitions in the last two seasons, but found himself out of favour at the start of this campaign.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Moussa Sissoko and the rejuvenated Tanguy Ndombele have generally been the preferred midfield trio this season.

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has stated midfielder Harry Winks will be staying at the club

But Winks has impressed Mourinho with his attitude and performances since asking for more game time prior in December.

The 24-year-old has played in the last three Premier League games for Spurs after missing each of the preceding eight.
