Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy admits the club have failed to live up to expectations this season, but vows to work 'relentlessly' to improve the team's fortunes... despite fans calling for him to leave

Daniel Levy has told Tottenham supporters he understands their frustration at the end of a disappointing season and admits the club has failed to deliver on their expectations.

Spurs have extended their long wait for a trophy and have lost their Champions League status.

They are jostling for a place in the minor European competitions next season at the end of a campaign.

'This has been an immensely difficult season,' said Levy, in the Spurs match-day programme for the game against Brentford, the final home game of the season, on Saturday.
