Tottenham 2-0 Wolves: Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg help fire hosts to comfortable win and keep alive their hopes of securing European football next season

Harry Kane scored his first goal since the sacking of Jose Mourinho to boost his quest for the Golden Boot and maintain Tottenham’s late push for the European places.

Spurs were too strong for Wolves and the victory lifted them into sixth, climbing above London rivals West Ham on goal difference with two games remaining.

They have taken nine points from four Premier League games under interim boss Ryan Mason.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg grabbed the second but they were led by Kane who took his personal tally to 22 in the competition and might easily have scored more.
