The Hollywood actor, and vocal Aston Villa supporter, 66, was left devastated with the Premier League game result as he looked on from the Directors' Box.
Sporting a navy quarter-zip over a white shirt and burgundy tie, it appears to be the first time that the Forrest Gump star has visited the stadium.
And happy to be in attendance, he was spotted waving to fans before taking his seat for the kickoff.
