Three games, three WRONG decisions! Premier League admits VAR made incorrect call in every game on Thursday as they concede Southampton and Manchester United shouldn't have been awarded penalties... while Spurs were robbed of one of their own

The Premier League have sensationally admitted that three VAR calls made on Thursday evening were incorrect, casting further doubt over the effectiveness of the controversial technology.

Manchester United and Southampton were awarded contentious penalties during their top flight clashes - with Bruno Fernandes netting for the top four chasers and James Ward-Prowse cracking his effort against the woodwork.

And Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho was understandably left incensed after his side were denied a seemingly blatant spot-kick when Bournemouth star Joshua King had bundled over Harry Kane.

BBC presenter Dan Walker confirmed the top flight match centre later conceded that several glaring errors were made in games which affected matters at both ends of the standings.
