The ex-England World Cup keeper, the £13.5m flop and Jurgen Klopp's former favourite son: The dream team of players who are now without a club as 127 Premier League stars wake up without a club today with the season still in progress

Last night, 127 Premier League footballers went to bed knowing that, come morning, they'd be without a club.

That number could have been considerably more, had clubs not secured the services of some of their players on short term deals as a result of Project Restart causing a contractual headache for those set to leave today.

The likes of David Silva, Willian, Pedro and Adam Lallana have all put pen to paper on shortened deals that will allow them to see out the season at their respective clubs.

Meanwhile, some players released have secured pre-contract agreements with other clubs, ensuring they avoid being left in limbo.
