Sunday league football team made up of labourers, teacher and car salesmen celebrate title win with an open top bus parade - downing lager and singing along empty streets

A Sunday league football team who won a title downed larger and sang along near empty streets while they toured around in an open top bus.

College Wanderers FC also let off flares while touring around like premier league players after clinching the EC Surfacing Ltd Scunthorpe & District Football League Division One title.

The amateur team were celebrating their third trophy of the season, where they won 25 of their 29 matches, and were also awarded the Challenge Cup and Sporting Shield trophies.

The revellers told the Sun they spent £40 each hiring the bus for a 'laugh' and thought they'd 'feel a bit silly' but passed the 'funniest two hours' of their life instead.
