Steve Bruce has confirmed he had a training-ground bust-up with Matt Ritchie and has now launched an investigation to find what he believes is a mole committing 'treason' inside his Newcastle camp.
He also denied leaking a story himself about goalkeeper Karl Darlow being dropped last week and said he would resign had he done that.
Sportsmail revealed on Thursday that Bruce physically confronted Ritchie and barged into him after being called a 'coward' by the player, who was upset after the manager publicly blamed him for the tactical confusion that led to Wolves' equaliser during Saturday's 1-1 draw.
