Sean Dyche defended Evangelos Marinakis after criticism of the Nottingham Forest owner

Sean Dyche leapt to the defence of Evangelos Marinakis as he promised to set Nottingham Forest on an even keel following the chaos of Ange Postecoglou's brief tenure.

Dyche is Forest's third manager of the season, barely two months after it began. Postecoglou lasted only 39 days after he replaced Nuno Espirito Santo and failed to register a win – something Dyche must rectify quickly.

Forest owner Marinakis' judgement has been questioned during recent months, with Forest in the bottom three and without a victory since the opening day of the campaign. Yet Dyche invited the doubters to look at Marinakis' entire reign as owner: Forest were struggling in the Championship when the Greek businessman took control, and they are now in the Europa League.
