Former Manchester United captain Rio Ferdinand has called on current custodian Harry Maguire to lead by example and steer the club out of their current domestic malaise.

The Red Devils have collected just one point from a possible 12 at home so far in the Premier League this season - with Sunday's 1-0 loss at home to Arsenal their latest disappointing result.

United now languish in 15th with their top-flight form contrasting differently to their Champions League performances so far.
