REVEALED: Michael Carrick told Ole Gunnar Solskjaer he DIDN'T WANT to be Man United's interim manager in a heart-to-heart chat 10 days after Ole's sacking - but he '100%' will manage them again

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed how Michael Carrick said he didn't want to be Man United's interim manager in a heart-to-heart chat after the Norwegian's sacking.

Solskjaer was given his marching orders in November 2021 after losing 4-1 to Watford - ending his three year tenure at the club.

The Red Devils released a statement saying Carrick would take temporary control of the Premier League giants.

However, Solskjaer has revealed how Carrick came to him after 10 days to say he didn't want to run the club without him.
