Premier League clubs are exploring new partnerships with overseas sides in response to the tougher post-Brexit regulations on signing foreign players.

A number of top-flight sides have discussed strengthening their existing links or widening their current networks after a new points-based system which will make it harder to recruit talent from abroad was confirmed this month.

Manchester City, who also have nine other clubs in their City Football Group, Chelsea, Leicester and Brighton are among the Premier League teams who already have established links to foreign sides.
