Premier League manager signs new THREE-YEAR contract despite dismal start to the new season

Vitor Pereira has been handed a new three-year contract at Wolves as the club seek to turn around their dreadful start to the season.

Ahead of Saturday's clash with Leeds at Molineux, Wolves sit bottom of the Premier League after losing all four of their opening games.

But Wolves have decided to put their faith in Pereira, who did an outstanding job in leading the club to comfortable survival last season after taking over from Gary O’Neil last December.

Chairman Jeff Shi said: ‘Now is a time for stability. Vitor needs time to work with the squad, to build a chemistry with new players, and we will do everything to support him and his staff.
