Premier League 'fat cats' slammed by Gillingham chairman over £125m advance

The Premier League 'fat cats' have been accused of abandoning EFL clubs by Gillingham chairman Paul Scally.

At the recent summit of the 20 top flight clubs, it was agreed that they would pay an advance of £125million from future money owed to the EFL to bail them out amid the coronavirus crisis.

But Scally has told the Premier League that it is not a significant enough sum to save clubs at risk.
