Premier League clubs to pay tribute to Chapecoense air tragedy victims with one minute silence before games

The Premier League will pay tribute to the victims of the tragic Chapecoense air disaster with a minute’s silence at every game this weekend.

Players across the top flight will wear black armbands in tribute to the 71 people who died in the plane crash in Colombia which claimed the lives of most of the Brazilian team Chapecoense.

A jet carrying the Brazil Serie A team, club officials and journalists, to Medellin for their Copa Sudamericana final match against Colombian side Atletico Nacional came down late on Monday night.
