Premier League clubs may have to offload players in order to pay their top stars as the wage cut row rumbles on with no compromise in sight.

Transfer chaos may be on the horizon as players whose contracts expire in June may be able to walk away from their clubs despite the season not coming to an end.

And according to The Mirror, clubs are currently reviewing their expenditures in a bid to protect themselves from being hit financially by the coronavirus crisis that has decimated sport.
