Parimatch suspends operations in Ukraine after being hit by Government sanctions

Parimatch, a sponsor of four Premier League clubs, has been forced to suspend its operations in Ukraine after the betting company was hit by Government sanctions related to Russia’s ongoing invasion.

Sanctions were imposed on 287 companies and 120 individuals by Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council.

The sanctions were confirmed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who said the entities had withdrawn money from the nation and have financed Russian schemes.

'These are more than 280 companies and 120 people who, through gambling business schemes, worked against Ukraine, withdrew funds from our state and financed various Russian schemes,’ Zelenskyy said.
