'Ospina could play for any club in the world' - Arsenal keeper urged to consider move and forget mistakes

A national icon is tipping a fellow Colombian to be an important player at the 2018 World Cup before weighing up his options in the transfer market

David Ospina has been advised to consider his Arsenal future this summer, with fellow Colombian Faryd Mondragon of the opinion that the 29-year-old could play for “any club in the world”.

Much of the experienced goalkeeper’s four years at Emirates Stadium have been spent as a back-up option, with Petr Cech having been the favoured choice of the Gunners in recent years.

His situation appears unlikely to change in 2018-19, with Arsenal having moved to snap up Germany international Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.
