Kenyan international Dennis Oliech believes Tusker deserved to be crowned the champions for the 2019-20 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season after Football Kenya Federation (FKF) moved to end the campaign.
Though Oliech, who won the league title with K’Ogalo last season, is not supporting the decision to end the league, the veteran striker has explained why Tusker deserved the crown ahead of his former side.
“According to me, Tusker would have bagged the title if the mid-season table were to be used though they had played 16 matches while Gor Mahia had played 13,” Oliech is quoted by Nation Sports.
