Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told his Manchester United players that a run of six games in 16 days over Christmas could be a defining period in their Premier League title challenge.

Solskjaer's side face Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Thursday, kicking off a busy festive programme that ends against Aston Villa on New Year's Day.

'This is a big run of games for us,' said Solskjaer. 'I'd be disappointed if the players didn't think we can put up a challenge.
