Ole Gunnar Solskjaer likens Man United's worst-ever Premier League season to seeing 'your family struggling' - as ex-Red Devils manager admits it's 'never easy' looking at the table with club 14th

Former Manchester United manager and player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted it pains him to see his old club doing so poorly in the Premier League.

The Red Devils will end the campaign with their lowest points tally in the Premier League era even if they do go on to win their final four matches.

Ruben Amorim's men have claimed just 39 points from 34 games with their lowest previous points total the 58 they acquired in the 2021-22 season.

The season could still end on a high with Thursday's 3-0 first leg win over Athletic Bilbao all but confirming their place in the Europa League final.
