Manchester United are still hopeful that Jesse Lingard will sign a new contract, says manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Lingard has rejected United's latest offer amid strong interest from Barcelona and AC Milan in signing him as a free agent at the end of the season.
The England international has been at United for more than two decades, but is known to be concerned at the amount of playing time under Solskjaer ahead of next year's World Cup.
The 28-year-old had a successful loan spell at West Ham last season but has played more minutes for England than United so far this term, making just one start and six appearances in total.
