Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms Jesse Lingard has a future at Manchester United as manager reveals they 'want him back' next season following superb loan spell at West Ham

West Ham have been dealt a blow in their pursuit for Jesse Lingard after Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke of his desire of keeping the in-form midfielder next season.

Lingard has been reinvigorated at West Ham since joining the club on loan until the end of the campaign in January.

The 28-year-old has scored eight goals and provided three assists in just nine Premier League games for the fourth-placed Hammers as they seek Champions League qualification.
