Nottingham Forest will take on Sheffield United in their opening home game of the Premier League season this weekend... but why has the game been moved to Friday night?

Nottingham Forest will kick off their home Premier League campaign on Friday at the City Ground.

Steve Cooper's side will take on Sheffield United as they look to pick up their first points of the campaign after an opening day defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday.

The match, however, unlike most Friday night games in the Premier League, will not be broadcast live in the United Kingdom.

The game was not a television pick, and was due to take place on Saturday with no match booked in for August the 18th.
