Nottingham Forest target Benfica's Goncalo Ramos and Marseille's Bamba Dieng as Steve Cooper looks to bolster his attacking line after his side's 2-0 away defeat to Newcastle

Nottingham Forest are targeting Benfica's Goncalo Ramos and Marseille's Bamba Dieng as they look to bolster their attack.

The Premier League new boys had a disappointing start to their season at Newcastle on Saturday and their owners are keen to keep strengthening their squad before the close of the transfer window at the end of this month.

As well as another left-back and two midfielders, they want a striker and have added Ramos and Dieng to their extensive list.

Nottingham Forest's first bid for target striker Goncalo Ramos fell short of Benfica's valuation
Marseille forward Bamba Dieng has also been on Steve Cooper's shortlist since January

Their opening offer for Ramos has fallen short of Benfica’s valuation for the 21-year old who has also attracted interest from Wolves.
