Nottingham Forest are 'showing significant interest in Morocco midfielder Selim Amallah'... with Standard Liege 'willing to let the World Cup star leave in January rather than losing him for nothing next summer'

Nottingham Forest are reportedly keen on signing Standard Liege and Morocco midfielder Selim Amallah next month.

Amallah featured in all seven of Morocco's games in Qatar, as his side made history by becoming the first African nation to make the semi-finals of the World Cup.

Morocco's run was brought to an end by France, and they went on to lose to Croatia in the third-place play-off, but Amallah left the tournament with his reputation enhanced, and could now be set for a move to the Premier League.
