Nottingham Forest and coach Steven Reid charged with misconduct after Liverpool defeat

Nottingham Forest and first-team coach Steven Reid have been charged with misconduct by the Football Association after confronting referee Paul Tierney following their defeat by Liverpool.

It followed Darwin Nunez's 99th-minute winner at the City Ground.

Forest are charged with failing to ensure their players and technical staff behaved properly. Reid and the club have until 13 March to respond.

The home side were incensed by Tierney's decision to hand possession back to Liverpool via a drop-ball in second-half stoppage time following a head injury to defender Ibrahima Konate.

Forest had control of the ball outside of the penalty area when the game was stopped.
