Norwich City are in talks to sign Canada international Ismael Kone from Montreal.
The 20-year-old, originally from Ivory Coast, joined the Major League Soccer side in August 2021.
The midfielder has made just 20 senior appearances for the club since his arrival in Montreal but has garnered attention with his performances this season.
Kone has already made his international debut and Canada coach John Herdman hailed the youngster for his 'fearless mindset'.
Herdman also told One Soccer: 'This kid is genuine, grounded and down to earth.
'He's got a personality, you can stand and have a joke with him and he isn't too enamored by the environment in terms of the personalities that are in the game.
