New figures show that just 16 per cent of Premier League players are unvaccinated compared to six per cent in the Bundesliga and two per cent in Serie A

16 per cent of Premier League players are unvaccinated, it was announced on Monday.

That is in stark contrast to other major leagues, including the Bundesliga, who announced in October that only six per cent of players in their division were unvaccinated.

In Serie A, meanwhile, only two per cent of players and staff are unvaccinated.

The Premier League revealed that 92 per cent of players and club staff have received one, two or three COVID-19 vaccination doses, with 84 per cent of players on the vaccination journey.
