As if three goals in his first two games weren't enough, Batshuayi firmly announced himself as a fan favourite last Thursday night, netting an injury time winner as Dortmund battled to a 3-2 Europa League win over Atalanta.
He'd scored another one 25 minutes earlier, completing a tally of five goals in his first three appearances. To put that explosive start in context, it took Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang seven games and Robert Lewandowski 22 to score their first five goals for Dortmund.
