Mesut Ozil's Arsenal exile set to hit a new low with the £350,000-a-week playmaker 'to be left out of the club's 25-man Premier League' by manager Mikel Arteta

Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil is set for more misery at the Emirates by being left out of the club's 25-man Premier League squad, according to reports.

The German playmaker is yet to play a single minute of action in any competition for the Gunners this season having fallen out of favour with manager Mikel Arteta, with the 32-year-old, who earns £350,000-a-week at the club, failing to impress.

But now he is set to sink to a new low in his exile from the team, with the Spanish boss preparing to leave him out of his domestic squad, the Evening Standard report.
