Mauricio Pochettino 'is willing to offer Romelu Lukaku a Chelsea lifeline' if he is appointed boss... with the Belgian striker's future 'to be discussed at the end of the season' after underwhelming Inter Milan loan spell

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly prepared to offer Romelu Lukaku the chance to revive his Chelsea career if the Argentinian takes over at Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku was discarded to spend the season on-loan at Inter Milan by previous Chelsea boss and now Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel after a torrid one-season in London.

But Lukaku will reportedly be given a second chance to show he can be the man to lead Chelsea's attack by Pochettino, as reported by The Telegraph.

The Blues have been trying to work out what to do with the Belgian since he was re-signed for £97million in 2021.
