Mason Greenwood gets 'luxury £8,000-a-month six-bedroom villa in Madrid and translator' as Man United 'foot the bill to help striker rebuild his career' during loan spell at Getafe

Manchester United will help Mason Greenwood try to rebuild his career in Spain by paying for a luxury villa and a translator.

The 21-year-old joined LaLiga side Getafe on a season-long loan on Friday after United said the striker would leave by mutual agreement following a six-month internal investigation.

It came after charges against the player, including attempted rape and assault, were dropped in February.

United chief John Murtough had taken over discussions over the loan deal after a failure to agree a deal on the player's wages had threatened to derail the move.
