Marcelo Flores 'set to leave Arsenal for Mexican side Tigres on a four-year deal', with the hotly-tipped 19-year-old yet to make a first-team appearance

Marcelo Flores is set to leave Arsenal and join Mexican side Tigres on a four-year deal, according to reports.

The hotly-tipped attacking midfielder, 19, has been on the Gunners' books since 2019, and spent last season on loan at Real Oviedo in Spain.

Now his exit from the Emirates seems imminent, without playing a first-team game for Arsenal.

Fabrizio Romano revealed that an agreement was in place to allow Flores to leave Arsenal for Tigres, signing a four-year contract with the Mexican side once he completes a medical check.

The move will allow Marcelo to move closer to his sister Silvana Flores, 21, who is a midfielder for Liga MX Femenil club Monterrey, the city's rival team to Flores.
