Manchester United fans are reportedly planning to hold a protest against the club's owners ahead of a pre-season friendly.

Anger against the Glazer family boiled to the surface again this week as it was revealed that they are to receive an £11million dividend payment from the club.

It comes after United achieved their worst ever points total in the Premier League era as they finished sixth in the table on 58.

According to the Manchester Evening News, a 'peaceful' protest will be staged outside Old Trafford ahead of the friendly against Rayo Vallecano on July 31.
