Manchester United BAN news photographers in move that infuriates their colleagues after they followed anti-Glazer protesters into Old Trafford without correct accreditation

Manchester United have blocked photographers from two prominent agencies due to pictures of the anti-Glazer demonstrations on the pitch at Old Trafford.

Agence France-Presse (AFP) and Action Images are understood to have had passes withheld for the club's final home game of the season against Fulham on Tuesday.

According to the Telegraph, United are said to be unhappy because the photographers in question did not have the correct accreditation when they followed angry fans inside the stadium, and worked for news rather than sport.

United's decision sparked fury among the photographers' colleagues, who insist there was a public interest in documenting the striking scenes, when fans broke in and protested on the field against the Glazers, the unpopular American owners.
