Manchester City stars spread festive cheer at local children's hospital as they hand out gifts and Pep Guardiola takes on fans at foosball

Manchester City spread some festive cheer to hundreds of children as their players made the annual visit to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

Led by captains Vincent Kompany and Steph Houghton, the players hand delivered bundles of presents to every young person in the hospital.

Five football mad fans, selected by the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity, were then given an extra special treat as they teamed up with Kompany, Houghton and men's first team boss Pep Guardiola for a City themed foosball tournament.

As well as bringing some joy to the hospital's patients, the players pledged their support to the hospital itself by committing to fund two pieces of specialist equipment as part of the hospital's One Big Wish Christmas Appeal.
