Manchester City 'are still interested in Tottenham talisman Harry Kane and Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland but WON'T pursue strikers in January' despite losing Ferran Torres to Barcelona

Manchester City have not ended their pursuits of Tottenham talisman Harry Kane or Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland but they will wait for the summer, according to reports.

City have been long-term admirers of the pair and are light in out-and-out centre forward options following the departure of Sergio Aguero earlier this year.

But Pep Guardiola's side will not make a move for a new striker next month, according to ESPN.

The report claims that they will hold fire and save the money to help their cause in the summer transfer window.
