Ilkay Gundogan's agent has hit out at rumours that the midfielder is close to a move to Barcelona after his contract with Manchester City expires at the end of the season, according to reports.
The City captain has been heavily linked with the Catalan giants, who are looking to bolster their midfield during this summer's transfer window.
Discussions are still ongoing between the German international and his current club, where he joined in 2016, and there is hope that he might prolong his stay in Manchester.
But there will be fervent competition for the services of the 32-year-old after his excellent campaign for City this season.
