Luis Enrique has stepped down from his position as Spain head coach, with his assistant Robert Moreno taking over on a permanent basis.
Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales confirmed the news at a press conference on Wednesday, saying: "Luis Enrique is not going to continue as coach. We have decided Robert Moreno will replace Luis Enrique."
The former Barcelona boss has made the decision in accordance with the Spanish Football Federation due to personal reasons, having previously missed the most recent international fixtures.
