Luis Diaz has reportedly made a key contract demand amid Barcelona's ongoing pursuit of the £60m-rated Liverpool winger this summer.
The Colombian international has attracted interest from across Europe, with Barcelona and Bayern Munich viewed as leading contenders if he was to leave Anfield.
Diaz is also said to be the subject of interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Diaz's agents have been in talks over a draft contract with Barcelona in the event a deal was agreed with Liverpool.
Barcelona's financial situation has reportedly been discussed in the talks, with the club having faced difficulties in registering Dani Olmo and Pau Victor last season.
